Dear CNetwork Friends,

The holiday season is here and Chinese New Year is
approaching. It is that time of the year again,
CNetwork Annual Chinese New Year Gala. Year of 2008
is coming your way!

CNetwork 2007 Chinese New Year Gala was a Great

Come to join us. Let us get together to celebrate the
heritage of Chinese culture. We are doing our best to
make the unforgettable night with joy and harmony.

Our grand Spring Festival Gala has always been one of
the prime events to celebrate Spring Festival in the
bay area Chinese community, more than 700 attendants
every year!

To make this great party, we are reaching out to you,
our members to get the help. We are calling for these:


1. Performance program (<= 5 min. in length)
We welcome talents from all areas such as dancing,
singing, skit performance... you name it! If you want
to share us with your performance talent or refer your
family members, friends or co-workers, please contact
us. You could be the Star of the Year! So ACT NOW!

2. Logo Design
We need a logo for our party. If you have a design, or
just an idea, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Your creativity and talents will be sincerely
appreciated and widely acknowledged!

3. Volunteers
If you are interested in helping out with this event,
please contact us. Your contribution would be very
much appreciated by the bay area Chinese community. In
addition, you will make a lot of nice friends.

  We are pleased to announce a hiking trip to Alum Rock Park on Sunday morning, August 5th. Alum Rock park is the first municipal park in California. It offers many trails for hiking, biking, and horseriding. Among them, the shaded and scenic Penitencia Creek Trail has been designated a National Recreation Trail, and the Eagle Rock Overlook offers a panorama of the Santa Clara Valley. Black-tailed deers are also frequently spotted inside the park.
